Bosch Rexroth: simple and fast construction of exclusive linear dispensing robot system
Easy to use: product selection is simple and easy, and debugging can be completed under guidance
Bosch Rexroth is continuing to promote the digital transformation of linear motion technology, and is adding a new subsystem to the Smart MechatroniX solution platform, that is, an intelligent functional suite for dispensing, so that users can complete typical dispensing tasks more efficiently and easily than ever before, such as bonding and sealing. The subsystem combines the first-class linear motion technology with automation hardware and intuitive software to form a full set of linear robot system, which can quickly conduct digital selection and configuration. Because the operating software is pre installed, it can enter the production state in a few minutes. The intelligent function kit is universal and can support all common dispensing heads.
kerienplc Manufacturers, system integrators and mechanical engineers in many industries such as automobile, packaging, battery manufacturing and semiconductor manufacturing need to complete typical dispensing tasks more quickly, simply and economically, such as bonding, sealing, spraying, filling and casting. Bosch Rexroth can now meet this requirement of customers through the intelligent function suite suitable for dispensing operation.
Like the intelligent function suite for handling and the intelligent function suite for stamping, this new subsystem is also an integral part of the Smart MechatroniX solution platform. The platform integrates linear motion technology, software and sensors into intelligent products and rapidly available solution packages. In order to achieve upward integration in the field of linear robots, Bosch Rexroth is continuously providing new solutions for a wide range of motion tasks.
The Smart MechatroniX platform not only scales horizontally through new solution packages, but also vertically through partnerships. As a new cooperation achievement, ViscoTec dispensing head can be quickly and conveniently used together with the intelligent function kit for dispensing operation. To ensure this, the subsystem records specific parameters that are read by the software and considered during setup. It is expected that the products of other manufacturers will be integrated in the future.
The open ctrlX AUTOMATION platform provides a standardized control environment for the intelligent function suite. The operating software runs as an application on the ctrlX CORE control system of the Smart Feature Suite. In this case, the hardware platform and innovative software are flexibly combined, so that complex linear motion can be mapped with simple graphical programming. Production line integration can also be easily realized through function blocks.
The intelligent function suite for dispensing operation combines coordinated components to form a complete, almost ready to use linear robot system, including control technology, energy supply system, motor, connecting elements and operation software. Using the LinSelect sizing tool, you can quickly determine and select the size of a single solution package. Predefined structural structure makes the product selection process easier. After the corresponding parameterization, the subsystem can be fully configured online and can be ordered. Compatible dispensing heads are provided by relevant partners.
The pre installed software can shorten the user's debugging time by 80%, and the debugging process can be completed under the guidance of the wizard program. Parameterization of the servo driver and dispensing head (in the case of fully integrated partner attachments) and axis reference can be performed automatically.
It is not necessary to define the process flow with code lines, but it is possible to use ready-made function blocks (including dispensing, rinsing, needle wiping and other dispensing functions) to perform motion sequencing in a graphical manner.
Diagnostic tools for quick troubleshooting are also included in the software scope. The web-based dashboard provides an overview of efficiency, process flow and production history, as well as current process data such as location, flow rate and cycle time.
