Anhui Shengshi Datang Chemical Equipment Group Co., Ltd. specializes in the integrated R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of magnetic pump, graphite equipment, and complete chemical corrosion-resistant devices, delivering comprehensive solutions for industrial applications.
Please read the installation and operating instructions carefully when you are working with our pumps.
1.Before installation and operation, carefully read the Installation, Operation, and Maintenance Manual.
2.Pipeline weight must be independently supported; the pump shall not bear the weight of pipelines or other torsional forces.
3.Lubrication (46# oil):
Oil level should be maintained between 5 mm above the centerline and the centerline of the oil sight glass.
Replace lubricating oil every 1,500 hours of operation.
4.For new pipelines and storage tanks:
Flush thoroughly to remove solid contaminants that could damage the mechanical seal.
Manually rotate the coupling before startup. If jamming or abnormal friction occurs during installation, resolve the issue before operation.
5.Cooling/flush fluid requirements:
Use clean, non-scaling liquid. Scaling water may block cooling channels and reduce seal lifespan.
Condensate is ideal for seal flushing. Ensure temperature <85°C.
6.Startup/shutdown sequence:
Start cooling/flush fluid before pump operation.
Stop the pump first before shutting off cooling/flush fluid.
7.Rotation direction:
Verify pump rotation direction before startup. Avoid reverse rotation.
Close the discharge valve before shutdown to prevent reverse rotation.
8.Flow control:
Do not use the suction valve to adjust flow, as this may cause cavitation.
9.Mechanical seal leakage tolerance:
For shaft diameters >250 mm: Allowable leakage ≤5 mL/h.
For shaft diameters <50 mm: Allowable leakage ≤3 mL/h.
10.Cooling/flush fluid monitoring:
Regularly check fluid flow. If interrupted, do not immediately restart.
Allow the seal to cool before resuming flow to prevent thermal shock.
Normal temperature rise: ≤20°C.
11.Minimum flow restriction:
Do not operate the pump below 1/3 of the design flow for extended periods.
Install a bypass line at the discharge to maintain flow within the required range if necessary.
12.Long-term shutdown:
Fully clean the pump to remove residual corrosive or crystallizing liquids.
